Like many children, I had a vivid imagination. I loved art, make-believe, and staging plays with my family; we filled rooms with our creations and built queendoms of paper and glue.
At the same time, I was sure I’d seen faeries and beings of light at my bedroom window. I often slipped out-of-body in lucid dreams and guessed everyone else did, too. In school, I was a good student for the most part, but in third grade I was sent to the principal’s office for conducting séances in the backfield. That was when I learned it was wiser to keep such visions to myself.

Outwardly, I pitched marketing campaigns under fluorescent lights. Inwardly, I studied with a shaman in the desert, learned tarot, and was drawn to Christian mystics and ancient wisdom — from the Hopi prophecies and the Gnostic Gospels to the teachings of Shakyamuni Buddha.

Mission & Ethos

"The Fool," representing the zero point of the Tarot. The kick off of the Hero's journey. The Fool is hopeful, eternally optimistic and eager for life's adventures. The white dog in this scene represents, among other things, The Fool’s openness to life without fear; the dog's companionship also depicts the fact that we are never truly alone.

"The Queen of Swords," an ink sketch representing clarity of mind and the presence of a self-possessed woman.

Origin Story:

Since I can remember, I’ve lived between worlds: one mundane, the other mystic

Over the years, and through countless tarot readings across multiple time zones, I've come to understand that the “two worlds” were never truly separate. They have always been threads woven through every aspect of my life.

In adulthood, I continued to live in two worlds:

This platform is my way of honoring & sharing those unseen threads.

The Eternal Optimist

The Queen of Swords

The High Priestess

Rebel: means choosing sovereignty over status quo.

Heart: represents the center of love and wisdom.

Why Rebel + Heart?

"My Little Heart-Brain," an anatomical ink sketch depiction of my heart with flowers and salt tears.

"Living on the Edge/The Fool Card," ink sketch depicting a fearless life lived between here and there. (Also, the awe of a cliffside, where the sea opens  wide - and feels like heaven.)

“Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.” ~Thoreau

—Nikola Tesla

"If you want to understand the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration.”

The Mission

The purpose of this work is to reclaim our forgotten senses, beyond the physical. It is also to honor the heart as sacred and the original tuning fork, setting the tone for all else.
